The Beginning
Mary Beth came to Trends Day Spa in 2004. In February of 2005, she began contemplating purchasing the Salon and Day Spa from Jeff Kunkel. In August 2005, this dream became reality.
Trends Day Spa became Trends Terra Bella. Mary Beth made many cosmetic and functional changes. The new décor is inviting, fresh and relaxing.
All of the Trends Day Spa staff made the transition to Trends Terra Bella.
Mary Beth Boston
Owner/ Stlyist
Mary Beth Boston worked at the State Board of Education for 15 years, then decided it was time for a career change & put her creativity to use. She came to Trends Day Spa as an intern in March 2004. She graduated from the University of Cosmetology Arts in June 2004. She then was hired as staff manager. Mary Beth is owner and president of Trends Terra Bella, Inc. along with her husband Doug.
She offers all hair services as well as Manicures and Pedicures.
Mary Beth always makes her clients feel like longtime friends.
Kara Smith
Manager/ Stylist/ Massage Therapist
Kara Smith joined Trends Terra Bella in August 2005. She graduated in November 2000 from the Tri-County Beauty Academy in Litchfield, IL. She also graduated from In touch Wellness Resource Center massage school in 2000.
Kara manages Trends Terra Bella and brings with her many years experience working at some of the premier salons in Springfield, IL. She offers women and men's hair cut, color services as well Massage Therapy. Her expertise in massage are deep tissue and therapeutic.
Kara is very creative! She loves what she does, going out of her way to make you look and feel your best, each and every time.
Cari Perce
Stylist
Cari Perce began working at Trends Terra Bella in June 2007 bringing her 4 years of experience with her. She gained her licensing in Cosmetology Arts (2004) after attending the Tri-County Beauty Academy in Litchfield, IL.
She offers Hair Cuts and Color services as well as thermal straighteners and Perms.
Cari relates well with clients and always goes out of her way to please them.
Kristy Hopkins
Stylist
Kristy who assisted under Kara , has been with us since 2010. She attends regular education classes and loves entering in Hair competitions. She attended the University of Cosmetology and Arts. Kristy loves making her clients time in her chair enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing. She has a natural talents doing colors, perms, women's cuts and men's cuts. Kristy has a creative eye for beauty. We are so excited to watch her blossom into an amazing Stylist and grow her business.
Jayme Batchelor
Massage Therapist
Jayme is one of the newest members of the Trends Terra Bella's team. Joining us in 2011. She is a certified Massage Therapist known for her therapeutic techniques and even flow. Each massage is customized to focus on areas of discomfort, relieving stress and muscular tension which provides overall relaxation of the body.
Jayme is also fully trained in Hot Rock Massages and body treatments.
Klarice Sosmena
Spa Specialist 
Are you looking for a spa experience beyond belief? Klarice joined our team with 4 years of experience in 2010. As a Spa Specialist she discovered her true passion doing a facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures and body treatments. Klarice provide amazing results leaving you relaxed and pampered. She takes pride in making anyone in her care feel pampered, relaxed, and care free.
No matter where your skin care need is now, Klarice will bring out more amazing results to exceed your expectations, while educating you on your skin and how to take care of it.
KendraCastleman
Nail Technician
Kendra joined Trends Terra Bella Team in Janurary 2010. She has been an expert in the area of natural nails and pedicures. She prides herself on her sanitation and customer service skills by making each client feel comfortable and relaxed. Her skills are always being honed on New Technology such as the New Shellac Manicure by CND.
We are happy to have her be a part of our team.
